What We Do
There are three areas of focus:
World Class Foot and Ankle Care | Motion Analysis | Mental Fitness
Foot and Ankle Care
No one wants to hear that they need surgery. This is especially true when it involves your foot or ankle – your connection to the ground and is the foundation of keeping you mobile and active. Elevate Active Health offers the best foot and ankle care that includes the whole body and mind for each unique individual. Patients seek out Dr. Noxon for foot and ankle injuries and surgery because he has over 22 years of experience treating patients and educating surgical residents. Do you want a second opinion? We offer a second opinion to patients who have had surgery and need revision and those who have had conflicting opinions from other physicians. We also offer custom-fit orthotics for your specific shoe needs, from everyday shoes to running, cycling, and ski footwear. Dr. Noxon utilizes BioTissue products in surgical procedures for optimal healing and minimizing tissue scaring. He offers BioTissue injectables proven to effectively treat plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and non-union of fractures in the foot and ankle. No matter what level of care is needed, you are assured the best care to return to sports, an active lifestyle, and your job as quickly as possible.
Motion Analysis
We offer motion analysis of your whole body. This can be done simply by sending us videos of you performing your sport or activity. Watching how you move through your world helps build a plan to get you back to your sports with acceptable motion so you will not compromise another joint or part of your body. This can also be highly beneficial for athletes to help avoid the risk of repetitive injury and achieve optimal form, especially in sports such as running, cycling, and nordic skiing.
Mental Fitness
An injury affects more than your physical abilities. It has a significant impact on your thoughts and outlook. At Elevate Active Health, we offer mental fitness coaching to help you transition through your injury with a scientifically proven program to train your mind. Just as you train your body with strength and mobility, you can train your mind and thoughts. Imagine being able to handle life challenges with a positive mindset. That is what mental fitness coaching will give you the skills to do just that. This is also extremely useful for anyone who wants to reach peak performance and improve their well-being and relationships.
"Dr. Noxon and his staff were amazing both before my foot surgery and after. It was the second time I had to have surgery on my “big toe” due to an old ballet injury (1st surgery was not with Dr. Noxon). Dr. Noxon was the first of 4 doctors that not only gave me hope that my toe could be fixed and not fused, but he did fix it. I went from 14% inflection to 80% after the surgery. Three years later, it is still fully functioning. I recommend Dr. Noxon to all of my friends and clients!"
– Sara L.
"Dr. Noxon is one of the best physicians I have ever worked with and I fully trust him. He explained everything up front so I knew what to expect. My appointments are never rushed and he takes the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Noxon is very friendly and easy to talk to. He truly cares about his patients and is easy to get ahold of if you need anything. I'm actually looking forward to my next bunion surgery!"
