Dr. Ersta Ferryanto is a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Surgery. He studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Georgia where he found his passion for medicine. He completed his Doctorate at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA, and completed his surgical residency at Ascension Saint Joseph Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

With a strong focus on performance driven care, Dr. Ferryanto specializes in treating sports related injuries, painful foot and ankle deformities, and revision surgery. He is experienced caring for athletes at all levels, from student athletes to professions, including individuals from the Chicago Fire, Joffrey Ballet, and Chicago Marathon. While he has extensive expertise in sports medicine, he enjoys treating the full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions for patients of all ages and activity levels. He is passionate about using innovative, minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical techniques to help patients return to sport and activity as quickly and safely as possible.

Dr. Ferryanto cherishes each patient encounter and offers a diverse perspective having lived in Indonesia, Germany, and Canada. He prioritizes patient-centered care through thorough education of each condition, compassionate communication, and a comprehensive understanding of foot and ankle conditions. He is actively engaged in clinical research and enjoys training future surgeons through residency education.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ferryanto enjoys hiking, portrait photography, traveling, and exploring Chicago’s vibrant food scene. He is committed to his community and is excited to provide world-class care to his patients throughout Chicagoland.
